Principal/ Stratgic Planning

David has 50+ years of library management experience and 10 years of experience in city management and public administration.  He has both a Masters Degree in Library Science and a Masters Degree in Public Administration.  He was a member of the Texas State Library and Archives Commission for six years and served as Chairman of their Advisory Board from 2007-2010.

David is the former state librarian of the state of West Virginia and assistant state librarian of the state of California.  He also served as the assistant library director of the San Francisco Public Library when they designed and moved into their 450,000 sf library in 1996.

David has supervised the design of over 75 libraries in his career is responsible for strategic planning, site analysis and planning, fiscal analysis, building programming and technology planning for Trinity Library Resources.

David is a graduate of Texas A&I University (now Texas A&M University Kingsville) with a degree in Education.  He received his MLS and MPA from the University of North Texas. David is one of the very few library consultants in the country that have supervised over 1 Million SF of library design.
